 The existing kitchen in Spanish Revival style residence needed to be “spruced up” while bringing its function to the 21st Century needs. There was not much opportunity, or homeowners’ desire for changing the layout. The improved function and more nowadays designer look were in order.

The space was limited in size and function was a challenge. Although the floor plan was not changed much, the new layout substantially improved functionality and the cooking experience. Visible connection with the rest of the house and the poolside back yard, set up for outdoor entertaining was the factor for choosing furniture grade custom cherry wood cabinetry with state of the art inserts and appliances, as well as new windows, flooring and lighting created a more representative look for the family’s daily life and entertaining experience.
