BACK YARD RENOVATION

 86 year old back yard in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles. The old brick paved patio was a “was zone”… due to huge tree roots all over the place. The original brick fireplace and windbreak glass partition were refurbished. New brick planters and low retaining walls were designed to complement the original and at the same time create fluidity for the outdoor dining area. New trellis provides shade and lighting for the entire new outdoor “Southern California Dining Room”. New wood fence gives nice warm color background for the greenery along the property line. Traffic fluidity connects the patio with the rest of the property grounds.
